Livingston: Anne-Marie Hunt and Gordon Wilson
Anne-Marie Hunt and Gordon Wilson, residents of Livingston, had an unexpected surprise on Christmas Day as their baby girl arrived earlier than her January 2 due date. Weighing 6lbs 7oz, the little one made her debut at 5.16 am at St John’s Hospital in Livingston. The couple is still deciding on a name for their precious bundle of joy.
Ayrshire: Lauren Sim, Yvonne and Paul Wilson, Sarah Ferguson and Kevin Hartshorn
In Ayrshire, Santa Claus made a special visit to the maternity unit as Lauren Sim, Yvonne and Paul Wilson, and Sarah Ferguson and Kevin Hartshorn welcomed their babies into the world. Lauren’s baby girl arrived weighing 5lb 8oz at 12.30 am, while Yvonne and Paul’s baby boy made his appearance at 3.16 am, weighing 5lb 10oz. Sarah and Kevin’s baby boy followed shortly after, at 6.57 am, weighing 5lb 3oz.
Paisley and Bellshill: Laurie Breach, Alyshia Glen, and Emma McLaughlin
In Paisley, Laurie Breach and her partner Duncan celebrated the birth of their son Ollie at Royal Alexandra Maternity, weighing 7lb 13oz. Alyshia Glen and Daniel McGhee met their daughter at University Hospital Wishaw, who weighed 8lbs 6oz. Emma McLaughlin welcomed her daughter Kiara Rose at Princess Royal Maternity Hospital in Glasgow, tipping the scales at 8lbs 6oz.
