Family of Missing Twins Eliza and Henrietta Huszti Desperate for Information
The family of Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, twin sisters who have been missing in Aberdeen for almost a week, are appealing for any information that could help find them. The sisters, aged 32, were last seen turning right onto a footpath next to the River Dee around 2:12 am on Tuesday, January 7.
Desperate Plea for Help
Originally from Hungary, the family of Eliza and Henrietta is growing increasingly worried as the days pass without any sign of the missing sisters. Their brother has expressed that it was highly unusual for them to be out at that time of night, adding to the concern surrounding their disappearance.
In a statement released through Police Scotland, the family expressed their distress, saying, “We are really worried about Eliza and Henrietta, and all we want is for them to be found. If you think you might have any information which could help the police with finding Eliza and Henrietta, then please pass this on as quickly as you can.”
Intensive Search Efforts
Searches for Eliza and Henrietta have been ongoing, with the police deploying resources such as the helicopter, dog unit, and marine unit to assist in the search. The focus of the search remains on the riverbanks between Wellington Bridge and the South Harbour, with door-to-door enquiries being conducted in the surrounding area where the sisters were last seen.
Chief Inspector Darren Bruce emphasized the family’s distress, stating, “Eliza and Henrietta’s family remain extremely worried about them, and we are in regular contact with them as our searches continue. Extensive efforts remain ongoing in the area, with specialist officers continuing to search on the banks of the river.”
Urgent Appeal for Information
The police are urging anyone who may have information regarding the whereabouts of Eliza and Henrietta to come forward. Chief Inspector Darren Bruce urged the public, “If you were in the area in the early hours of last Tuesday morning, please think back, did you notice anyone matching their description? Any piece of information could prove crucial.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact 101 and quote incident number 0735 of Tuesday, 7 January, 2025. The family and authorities are pleading for the community’s help in bringing Eliza and Henrietta home safely.
