A new brunch and breakfast spot called Saints of Ingram has recently opened in Glasgow city center. The restaurant is located in the historic Hutchesons Hall, a Category A-listed building that was built between 1802 and 1805 and is owned by The National Trust for Scotland.
Saints of Ingram is from the same team behind Devil of Brooklyn and Devil’s Roast, and it will start as a daytime spot before transitioning into a day-to-night concept in the future. The breakfast menu is available from 8am to 11am, offering items like fry ups, eggs royale, rolls, and overnight oats. For brunch from 11am to 4pm, guests can enjoy truffle potato scones, steak and eggs, and the decadent ‘Saints stack’ which includes black pudding, poached egg, potato scone, sriracha hollandaise, and pea shoot on sourdough.
In addition to the delicious food offerings, Saints of Ingram will also serve a specialty roast from The Good Coffee Cartel, mochas and hot chocolate made with Bare Bones chocolate, teas from Tea Lab, and baked goods from Wheatberry Bakery. Upstairs in the main hall, guests can indulge in both classic and signature cocktails. The venue plans to expand its menu to include small plates and cocktails starting at 5pm.
General Manager Johnathan Cranstoun, who previously worked at The Devil’s Roast, expressed his excitement about bringing the concept of elevated brunch to Glasgow. He emphasized the team’s commitment to using local suppliers and highlighted the speciality brew from The Good Coffee Cartel and the delicious baked goods from Wheatberry Bakery.
Cranstoun mentioned that the team is thrilled to breathe new life into the historic venue and create a memorable experience for guests both during the day and at night. While the space has undergone refurbishment, it represents a new chapter for Saints of Ingram and the team feels privileged to operate in such a significant and beloved location.
