A man in Whitburn was seriously injured in an assault by a gang of three individuals. The incident took place on Park Lane around 5:45 pm on Friday, August 9, and the 44-year-old victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The police are seeking information regarding the assault and are looking for details about the three men involved. All three suspects are described as white males. The first suspect is reported to be of heavy build, approximately 5ft 8in tall with short grey hair, wearing blue jeans and a blue top. The second suspect is around 40 years old, 5ft 10in tall with short dark hair, and was wearing dark clothing. The third suspect is shorter at 5ft 6in, in his 30s, and of slim build.
Detective Sergeant Tony Gilhooley stated that the investigation is ongoing, and they are urging anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward with information. They are also asking for anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time of the assault to provide it to the police.
