police-search-for-suspects-in-connected-attacks-injuring-two-men-and-setting-car-ablaze

Police have launched a manhunt for three guys who they think were involved in a pretty serious assault and torching of a car on Monday. The whole thing went down at a place on Wilson Place in East Kilbride, where two dudes, aged 45 and 41, had to be rushed to the hospital for some treatment.

The chaos started around 1.25pm on Monday, May 19th, when emergency services got the call to head over to the scene. Later that night, they were back at it again, this time in the Boswell Drive area of Blantyre, dealing with a fire.

A snazzy blue Audi A5 got set on fire on purpose around 9.15pm, but thankfully the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service swooped in to put out the flames. The police are now on the lookout for these three shady characters, all decked out in dark clothes and face masks, who seem to be tied to the East Kilbride incident.

The incidents are all connected, and it seems like they’re just another piece of the ongoing gang drama that’s been going down all over the place lately. Detective Superintendent Martin McGhee spilled the tea, saying, “We’re pretty sure this was a targeted deal. Our snooping around has led us to believe that the car that got burned up was also used in the earlier assault.

“If you happened to witness any of this craziness, do us a solid and reach out ASAP. And if you’ve got any CCTV, doorbell, or dash-cam footage lying around, don’t be shy—let us know. It might just help us crack the case.

“We get that this is all a bit nerve-wracking for the locals, but trust us, we’re on it. The people responsible won’t be getting away with this.”
