A young lad named David Bark, aged 18, tragically lost his life after getting hit by a van in Wigtown not too long ago. The incident took place on the A75 at Carsluith near the town on a fateful Friday, April 18. Unfortunately, despite being rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, David succumbed to his injuries on Saturday, April 26.
Sergeant David Kerr expressed his condolences, stating, “Our thoughts are with David’s family and friends during this difficult time.” The investigation into the crash is still ongoing, with authorities urging anyone who was in the area before or after the incident to come forward. Additionally, individuals with dash-cam footage that could help shed light on the circumstances are encouraged to reach out to the police.
