Alright, so there’s this tiny pro-Palestine thing happening in Glasgow right now. It’s basically a mini protest in response to all the craziness going on in the region. Israel is going all out on Gaza, and these little figures are popping up to make a statement.

The whole display seems to be part of this 100 symbols of solidarity project by an artist named Euan Sutherland. And on top of that, there’s a separate thing with 19 flags for Palestine. The figures in the display are holding up a ‘Free Palestine’ banner and waving Palestine flags. It’s definitely catching the attention of folks passing by in Glasgow.

Now, over in Scotland, we’ve got 20 mums going on a hunger strike to protest against Israel’s actions. They’re part of Mothers Against Genocide Scotland, trying to raise awareness and funds for the people of Palestine. These mums are serious about it too, planning to do rolling 48-hour fasts until the government steps in to stop the genocide in Palestine.

Not really sure why this matters, but it’s interesting to see these different forms of protest popping up in response to the conflict. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like people are really starting to take a stand on this issue, and it’s getting harder to ignore. The visual impact of these displays and hunger strikes is definitely making a statement, whether you agree with it or not.
